We are given one chance in this life. We dont know when our time on this earth will end or what the future and beyond holds for each of us.
While we could sit and ponder it and allow our time to be consumed by this unanswerable question i have decided to live in the moment.
Embrace the oportunities that come my way and ensure that me being here has a bigger purpose.
It took quite a long time for me to really figure out who i was as a person but when i did; oh boy! That lit a huge fire underneath me and within me.
I knew that I could use my life experiences to help others in a way i wish i could have been helped.
I was always quite good at talking. I could develop and hold conversations, both casual and intellectual with a variety of people from different walks of life. I found people, in general, were interested in what i had to say (im still not quite sure why!) and this is now used to my advantage!
Not only do I Emcee and host various events, i also address community groups up through to government officials on topics related to Domestic Abuse, Gender Equality and the need for Empowerment through leadership across all sectors.
I use my 'gift' of talking to speak out on these topics I feel so passionate about because I can.
The lord graced me with this voice of mine so why wouldnt I?!
I love that I can bring a smile to the faces of many and engage them in the ways in which I do. I love hearing their feedback - both positive and negative as this is what allows me to continually grow and develop.
